Consensus is Patriotic

As an Independent Conservative I believe that consesus is sometimes a neccessary  thing to preserve the greatness and fiscal safety of our geat nation. The Debt ceiling must be raised no doubt, but Government spending must be reined in while private sector spending must be organically engineered to increase . It is important to focus on both at the same time . Deficit need to be reduced ! and reduced now to preserve America as we know it. There is however a great concern I have ! which is that nobody is really coming up with the greater issue that we must grow and expand our economy urgently. The mistake that some on the left continues to make is that goverment expansion will grow the economy, this notion is patently false and has never happened in history. The engine of  economic growth and expansion is innovation, education, competitiveness, capitalism incentives like lower tax rates etc.
We on the right must also not pretend that just tax cuts will grow the economy. Innovation must not only be encouraged but facilitated and this will need government support but not government control.
We must raise economic and innovation patriots as we led the world in the nineties in technologies which has now been taken advantage of by other world economies. We led in computing, internet, etc. where will china be without our innovative technologies today. Job creation will result from all these efforts. We must stop playing politics with the destiny of our nation. So much is at stake we must now focus and act fast .
